About:

Robens Green Cone PRS is a versatile polyester tipi tent with great headroom.  Featuring a large porch and inner that sleeps 4 people this tipi styled tent also has an offset centre pole for easy access.  This pole helps lift the outer from the ground to create a gap to aid air flow.

If you prefer to travel lighter, remove the inner and adjust the telescopic centre pole so the outer sits close to the ground and you have the perfect bivvy tent.

Small corner poles are sewn into the dark inner to create a wall that adds extra useable space.

Going Ultralight!

Want to make things lighter? Then leave the inner tent at home and pitch the tipi as a simple bothy.  Using it like this also makes it possible to take the Green Cone with you as a robust day shelter on longer treks/walks or when you may not be planning on overnighting.

Breathing Space

The Green Cone has a telescopic pole  so you can raise or lower the edge of the outer tent. This creates a gap between the ground and the outer which allows air to circulate through the interior more freely.

With greater ventilation you can reduce the amount of condensation that builds naturally builds up through use (condensation happens with every tent to varying degrees) and also help keep the interior cooler during the summer months.

On the other hand, if the weather is particularly bad you can lower the tent - effectively hunkering down against the elements.

Pitching Tip

Start by making sure the door is zipped shut and then peg out the taped loops either side of the front door.

Then work your way around the tent in one direction pegging the adjustable guylines around the edge of the tent. Don't pull the tent too tight as you peg these out but make sure you give it some shape.

Once all the pegs are placed around the edge of the tent, unzip the door and with the pole set to its smallest length feed it up into the tent and raise.

At this point the tipi is effectively pitched. All that's left to do is adjust the height to suit your needs and then to straighten/tighten the pegs around the outer.

Weather depending you should then peg out the guylines too for additional stability.
