About:
Great for family camping, a more bushcraft retro living experience or a weekend of glamping. The Robens Klondike is a spacious hybrid between a tipi and a bell tent. With room for up to 10 people inside and compatible with a tent stove plus flue. This tent is perfect for year round camping adventures.
A little on the weighty side perhaps if you are planning to walk any distance but given the style of tent and intended use that shouldn't be an issue. If you are feeling particularly adventurous why not combo up the Klondike with an open top canoe and get in touch with your inner Lewis and Clarke on some grand journey.
The vertical door makes for easy access and the groundsheet there has a zip running to the central pole, which means you can roll it back from the door. Creating a safe space for an optional stove (we recommend getting a groundsheet protector) or for muddy boots.
At the peak of the tent is what Robens call the Apex Vent. This is a clever little ventilation system that can be opened or closed with a pulley system.
Too big?
Love the design but don't need as much space; then check out the Robens Klondike. It's suitable for up to 6 people.
Don't forget!
Remember to "weather" this tent before use. Most polycotton tents require such attention to make them weatherproof. Simply wet through the fabric and pitch to dry. This causes the cotton to swell and effectively fuse with the polyester.
